'Oh no, don't remind me!' she cringed and nudged him playfully, 'I think you guys just liked having something you were better at than a girl ..' she smiled up at him, 'I wouldn't be surprised if you'd intentionally taught me how to fall over all the time.'

Sinbad laughed. "Don't be so mean. We were just being friendly to a little girl who wanted to play with the big boys," he said teasingly. When they were that small 2 years had been quite a difference, but as they got older a difference grew smaller and smaller until it didn't matter anymore.

'And if those big boys hadn't left her out in the first place, she might not have acted like such a baby then,' Odette smiled to herself, despite what she'd told herself over the past couple of years, she really had missed these moments with him, 'I'm glad I have you back,' she said quietly, blushing when she realised that she had said that out loud.

Sinbad laughed slightly at her comment. "But you were so fun to tease. It was hard to resist," Sinbad said, still laughing.
Sinbad smiled softly at her next words. "You too. I really missed it," he said as he took her hand in his.

'Now who's being mean?' she asked, pouting as she turned away, pretending to be offended by his words.
She jumped slightly when he grabbed her hand but soon relaxed, moving closer to him as she let her thumb caress his skin.

Sinbad turned a little so he was facing her. With his other hand he pushed away a few strains of hair before he gently turned her head towards him. He looked her in the eyes, then at her lips as he leaned in and kissed her.

As he leant down to kiss her, she reached up to kiss him back. Placing her hands on his chest, unsure of what else she should do in a situation like this.

Sinbad let his hands run over her hair and across her back as he continued to kiss her. Just an hour ago he would never have dreamed of anything like this happening with Odette, and yet now it had turned into reality. Judging from their past, her personality and her family, Sinbad thought that she probably wasn't used to this kind of thing. Not that he was that familiar with it either. Not while being in a sober state at least. He decided to move slowly, carefully not to cross any lines he shouldn't.

Feeling his hands move against her, Odette moved her own to the back of his neck and pulled him closer to her. She might not have had much personal experience with this kind of thing, but she'd seen enough movies to have some idea of what was expected of her in a moment like this.
