Cost of Love Empty
PostSubject: Cost of Love   Cost of Love EmptySun Jun 17, 2012 8:16 am

Rin wasn't hard to find. It was fairly easy to know that he would stay away from the entrance, and yet stay close to his human. Sanctuary seemed the obvious choice, and it wasn't like Rin to surprise. It wasn't a bad choice though, few demons usually ventured there.
"Things not really going your way lately are they?" he asked, but with no worry in his voice. The sound of his voice sounded far too cheerful and far too amused as he walked over to where Rin was standing against a wall.

'Fuck off' he cursed instantly when he heard the smug voice of Calcifer, hardly wanting to hear him gloat about whatever he presumed Cali had now said to Lillith. He was lying low, and could not care less about the little friendship he had recently formed.
Obviously where he was right now was pathetic, laying low from his own kind. But what he feared worse was coming across the likes of an extremely mad Lillith, and he could not bare the thought of pain so intense as she would provide right now. He knew he was being a coward, but Calcifer could hardly talk. Regardless he did not hear his voice, and he made all signs of leaving as soon as Calcifer drew nearer.

"Aren't you just the tiniest bit curious of my recent actions?" he teased, his smile growing more and more smug by the second. He could not wait to see his devastated expression once he realized what had been done. Already his aggrivated mood was amusing him a lot.
"It seems you have more in common with your girlfriend than originally thought," he smiled, unable to hold back a laughter. He had not wanted to tell him so soon. He had rather been wanting to play with him for a while, but as he was about to leave it seemed he would have to tell him now.

Although his words weren't initially obvious, the fact he had brought up Miriam alongside his smugness could only mean one thing, and although he was reluctant to believe it the denial was all too obvious upon his face.
Confused at first, taking a step back as he processed his words, his thoughts quickly turned to anger as he clutched his knife and pressed it against his neck. 'You son of a bitch' he snarled, frustrated at the fact that however hard he tried he simply could not kill him.
Obviously a part of his own anger reflected upon Miriam, and he had no idea what she could have possibly wanted to make such an idiotic decision. He was certain she could not possibly imagine, nor even have realised fully, what she had done. From his own experiences he knew that long-term consequences never crossed a persons mind when they made such a rash and desperate decision as that.
'How long?' he demanded, pressing the knife into Calcifer's throat forcibly. Now was not a time for dignity, he was certain Calcifer would have already assmued he would have reacted or he would not have even bothered finding him. That was all Calcifer thrived on. The satisfaction of playing people against one another.

He smiled despite his fears as he glanced down at the knife in Rin's hands.
"Longer than she'll survive in here, I am not technically shortening her life," he told him, and though he tried to stop smiling out of fear for what Rin could do to him, it was hard not to reveal his satisfaction with himself, or the amusement Rin's action was granting him.

He traced the knife across him, unsure of whether he was actually going to do anything. But the more he spoke the more angry he got, at the more easy it seemed for him to take it out on him. However he was conscious of the fact that he had already done far worse to Cali, and got himself in trouble. This would not help, and only stoop him to Calcifer's pathetic level.
He could sense he was afaid, and he threatened as he kept the knife teasingly close. But he was more worried about Miriam, and wherever she was now. He had no idea how long she had got left, and was sure Calcifer would not provide him with the answers, and that was all that occupied his mind. With one last tease he quickly moved away from him. 'You are pathetic' he taunted, leaving him as fast as he could. He was heading for the Entrance Wing, but that was only because it was the only way he could find Miriam, and that was all he cared about. She had done something unforgivable, but he knew deep down he would only really believe this when he saw the pernament mark that the deal would have left on her.
