Run Rabbit Run

Miriam followed Rin, staying close behind him, but stopping as she noticed demons at the other side of the room. Luckily they had their backs turned, and she looked around for an escape route, careful to stay as quiet as she possibly could, hoping they wouldn't notice her presence. She looked towards the right wing and the font, wondering which one to run to, but figured it was not worth the risk, and kept close to the wall as she silently snuck along the wall. She only turned around to mouth a simple "Thank you" to Rin. She might enjoy mocking him, and she might hate saying it, but he deserved it after everything he had gotten her through the last couple of days.
She wasn't sure if he was going to follow her or not, and she didn't particularly care. He had done his part, it was upto her now.

He wasn't planning on following her. The few demons here weren't paying attention, and the Crypt was still clearly blocked, but that didn't mean he had any intention of guarding her. Until he saw he heading towards the Right Wing, which last time he had saw had Kaiani in. Not only would she tear her to pieces, but she would not stop mocking Rin either.
Walking over to her he glared. 'Not that way' he hissed, gesturing her instead towards the Nave. As it was mostly the remains of the collapsed ceiling not many demons ventured through it, and therefore he hoped it would be able to keep her alive. 'Climb over that and keep down' he commanded. 'And avoid the bodies' he laughed.

She looked shocked at Rin as he gave her instructions, not quite understanding why he was helping her, but not in any way complaining.
She nodded and did as he said, keeping low to the ground. The bodies were disturbing to say the least, but she had seen them before. Seeing them up close was far worse of course, but if it would keep her alive she could hardly complain, as she made her way through and into the nave, looking back to see if he was following, though she told herself she didn't care. She was just curious.

Azazel stepped into the entrance wing, running his hand through his hair in frustration. 'Humans! Nothing but trouble!' He thought to himself as he walked forward, stopping when he spotted Rin. He was with someone who clearly wasn't one of them. "Hello there!" He called out to them.

He spotted Azazel and rolled his eyes his way.
'Got a live one' he joked, gesturing to Miriam, trying to make it seem as if he was merely chasing after her.
He got out his knife and looked at him. 'Came from the Spire' he said, seemingly casually.

She had barely turned around to see if Rin was following when she noticed another demon further away. Whipping her head back to Rin, his words ran like cold ice down her back, making her stare at him in fear for a couple of seconds before she realized the horror of the situation she was in. She knew Rin was reluctant to kill her, but with witnesses he would not have a choice. If he got to her she would be dead.
She turned around and got up as fast as her body would let her before she sprinted towards the nave as fast as her legs would take her.

Thomas had finally made it out of the crypt and headed as fast as he could toward the nave.
He stopped when he caught sight of Azazel and another unfamiliar demon and...
Was that Miriam?
He squinted to see her more clearly as she dashed over the rucous.

He lifted an eyebrow at Rin. "So you got a little pet too." Suddenly the girl started to run. "Your pet is escaping Rin, what are you going to do?" He asked following her move with his gaze.

'Shes not my pet' he frowned at him, but he was already stepping forward to follow her. He flashed his knife his way to prove his point.
He looked at Azazel. 'And yours is?' he asked. Cali had decided to claim Aurora, but he had thought that was abnormal and foolish of her. He wouldn't have expected Azazel to be doing the same.

She was running, but stopped in her tracks as she picked up on their conversation, and quickly turned around to glare at him.
"I'm nobody's pet," she said and spit in his direction. She was too far from him to hit, but she hoped it would get the point across.
Then she quickly turned and sprinted further, stumbling over a couple of bodies and continued to the nave.

Thomas raced after them.
Miriam can handle 1 demon, he was sure of that.
But two was a different story.
He called out to Azazel to get his attention.
"Hey Zaz!" He flung his arms and smirked. "Miss me?"

He snorted a laugh as he turned to look at Thomas. "hmph!.... As much as a dog misses it's flees." He turned his whole body to meet Thomas. "So you have been missing me I assume." He spread his arms wide open. "Here I am boy."

Whilst Azazel was distracted he quickly ran after Miriam and into the Nave, making sure she didn't run into anyone else or do something stupid.
He assumed the boy must be the pet he was referring to, as he clearly didn't seem to think that he was going to die walking right into him.
He left them to it, not really caring what would happen to them, as he ran up and through the rubble pile.

"Oh so very much," He replied, sarcastically, watching as the other demon ran after Miriam.
"Quick question." He approached Azazel, stopping when he got in arms reach.
He leaned against some stone rubble with one hand behind his back, ready to pull out a weapon and attack if he needed to.
"Why do you keep me alive? I'm no longer your spy."

He smirked. "Maybe I just don't care, or maybe I am interested in seeing everyone hate you before you actually die."

Thomas glared and pulled out one of his knives.
"Well, you know nothing is stopping me from really killing you."

He laughed. "Go ahead, kill me then." He baconed the boy with his finger.

Aurora and Cali had hid as the others suddenly arrived. She had not listened to the scene, but seeing Thomas hang around with Azazel so casual.
She snuck out of her hiding place."Thomas? What is going on?"

He turned his attention to the blonde girl his eyes glowing dangerously. "Hello again. Your boyfriend is going to kill me. Do you want to watch?" He said mockingly.

"H-he is n-not my boyfriend." She blushed again. Looking down. "And m-maybe...you deserve it.."
She said weakly. Stepping backwards. Why did she even step out her hiding place?

Thomas started to approach Azazel when Aurora showed herself and began speaking.
He rolled his eyes at Azazel and rounded on Aurora.
"What are you still doing here?! And what do you mean 'maybe'?"
Deep down, he was glad she was alive but his tone towards her could've suggested otherwise.
He really wished she had just remained hidden.

He smirked. "Maybe I do, indeed." He took a step closer towards Thomas. "So when are you going to stab me boy? Or are you too busy arguing with your girl friend?"

Aurora stepped back as Thomas shouted at her. "I..." She looked down. "I just wanted to see if you were okay!"
She shouted back. Covering her mouth. Before she looked down again. It seemed like they did not want her..
But she could help.. She stepped backwards one more time.

Cali cursed under her breath, Miriam was there and would give her away if she stepped out of her hiding place but it was clear that Aurora was just about to land herself in more trouble. She was torn, but she decided to stay hidden at least until Aurora was in deep trouble, then she may leave and save her. For the moment, she must stay put.

Noticing Miriam run away with Rin after her, she stepped out into the light from her shadowed hiding place.

"You didn't tell me you had a boyfriend Aurora?" Cali paused looking unimpressed.

Oh great, Lia had shown herself too...
Thomas ignored the boyfstared at Azazel and sighed as he put away his knife.
"Killing you is an impossible task considering you'll just go the hell and come back."
He stepped back toward Aurora and Cali/Lia.
He needed to get them out of here. He may be safe from Azazel but they weren't.
"You know what, I'll take you up on that. You can kill me when I've become dispised by everyone."
He tried to move Aurora and Lia toward the Nave.
But before he left, he looked at Azazel and laughed.
"Oh and by the way, your girl's screwing around with an old man."
