It's up to you to stop this..

Frollo led Cinderella up to his own room, before he took out the rest of his equipment.
He handed her an anti-possession charm, identical to the one he, himself bore around his neck.
"This will keep you protected. Demons can not enter your body with this," he said and gently laid it in her hands.
Further more he also handed her a bag with an exorcism spell, a waterbottle and three bags of salt.
"You need to stop them Ella, I'm counting on you," he said, looking her in the eyes.
He knew she must be terrified and scared out of her mind, but she needed to snap out of it.
For all of them.

Cinderella looked into his eyes and smiled. "I will do exactly that," she said, than bringing herself closer to hug him. "Thank you." She took the things he handed her and place them in her dress pocket.
Her uncle was right, she needed to step up and become more mature. She couldn't have the whole town seeing her distraught. They were counting on her.
She took a deep breathe and nodded. "Anything you would like me to do?" she asked before leaving.

Frollo took a deep breath before he opened a drawer and pulled out a bundle, wrapped inside some white clothing.
He was unwilling to reveal it right away, as she had never seen anything like it to his knowledge.
It would probably freak her out, knowing Cinderella, but he wanted her to have it. For protection.
Even if she didn't like it...

He let the white clothing fall to the floor, revealing a small gun, before he laid it in her hands.
She took it hesitantly, but he insisted she should keep it.
"Careful, it's loaded," was his first words.
"I want you to have it. For protection," he said after another deep breath.
"It won't kill demons but... those iron bullets sure will hurt as hell."
It was unusual for Frollo to use such language but...
these were unusual times.

Cinderella gasped. "Frollo, I-" She tried to argue but he insisted she keep it.
She examined it carefully. She had never in her life held a gun before and she never thought she would get the chance until at that moment.
Life and death revolved around the gun. She could easily end someone's life in a split second.
She gulped. Never in her life had she had so much control on someone else's destiny.
"I will use it wisely, Uncle." she said nodding her head once more.
She couldn't imagine herself killing another man, another human; having their blood on her hands.
But she had to do what was best, and if shedding some blood to end this war is what takes, she would do it.
She put the safety on and placed it in her pocket.
"Don't worry, I know how to use it. That's what you get for spending summers in the library." She replied softly.

He nodded, but knew that she would quickly realize using one for real was far different from simply reading about it.
"Aim for their stomach," he said sternly. If she was trained he would have asked her to aim for a hand, or foot, or somewhere that would not be lethal for the human body, but still hurt the same for the demon.
However, she was not trained, and she would not be able to aim that precisly. This was his only advice.
"That way.. if you miss.. you might still hit the body somewhere," he said.

She looked down at the gun in her pocket and sighed. "Frollo," she said looking up at him.
"Will this ever end? I mean will there be an escape?" Too many thoughts were racing in her head to think straight.
She knew she shouldn't ask such immature questions but she couldn't help it, a little part of her was still scared.
It was a lot to take in. And not just for her, but for her Uncle too. She was worried about him.

"It will end once we win," he answered flatly, refusing the thought of defeat as he walked towards the stairs again.
He did not know where he was going or what he would do next, but he could not just stay there doing nothing.

She watched him walk out the door. She straightened up a bit and looked at herself in the mirror.
She wasn't that weak, young girl anymore. She was a leader. Someone who had to lead her people into safety.
She pulled a necklace that had been hiding under her shirt and put it close to her lips. It had a small silver cross
on it, and she carefully kissed it then tucked it back in. "We will win," she whispered then left the room as well.
