Azazel is a yellow eyed demon, and a powerful one at that. He is smart and cruel, he is a skillfull manipulator of both human and demon. He is a very independent demon, not really taking orders from anyone. Only because Lillith outranks him he takes her orders, though he is determined to put his own little twist in the outcome. He comes and goes out of the hells gates, only to cause chaos. The last time he did he was responsible of the world war 2. He considers humans as fun toys more than as an enemy, mostly because he sees humans weak and not worth his hate.
Before the attacks:------------------------
Azazel lived in the ancient times. He was a soldier, a very cruel one. He drank, gambeled and killed. He loved to sleep with young girls and then killed them brutally. Finally that life caught up to him and he was killed by a huge group of his fellow soldiers and fathers of the girls he killed. He spent centuries in hell being tortured out of his humanity. He comes and goes in and out from hell, finding people he can manipulate into being his little puppets and caused alot of wars and famine. That was his way of bringing out the sinfull nature of people. After world war 2 ended he felt accomplished and didn't feel the need to go out anytime soon. Lillith used her rank to convince him to join this cathedral attack, and for that he resents her now.
