"Of course, Uncle," she said nodding and walking to the door. What could he want to give her? She still couldn't think straight after the trauma.
She tried to focus herself and think positive, "Please," she thought, directed towards her god. "Help us."
She started to walk up the stairs to the room Frollo had told her about.

Odette was sitting silently on the floor with her back to the wall as she tried to take in Frollo's words. After everything that had happened over the past few days she found it hard enough to stay standing, let alone understand exactly what was going on and how they should deal with it.
She was still trying to process everything even after Frollo had left the room, but eventually gave up and looked at the other frightened and exhausted faces around her. She stared at one strange face after another, not really paying much attention to them, until her gaze fell upon someone all too familiar to her.

Sinbad .. she thought bitterly, if it wasn't for him showing up I'd have been far away from here by now .. she sighed and quickly looked away and back at the floor. It was useless being mad at him for that now, so she just closed her eyes and clasped her hands together and tried to pray. Right now she didn't know what else to do ..

Thomas slouched against the wall in a corner, barely focusing on anything.
He couldn't stop this shaky feeling and as Father Frollo enlightened them, he grimaced.
Only one word was loud and clear in his mind: Mom

When Frollo came back he gestured to the kitchen through the open door he had just come through.
"There is a bucket of holy water prepared by the sink. Anyone with a waterbottle are free to fill them up," he said. What to do? What could he do? He couldn't go outside, he would get himself killed, but... he knew if they didn't it was only a matter of time before the demons would come here instead, impatient and lusting for blood.
"I shall be in my room if I am needed," he said before leaving once again.

She could not believe that the priest had just told them to fight, and then hid away himself. She supposed it made sense. A lot of these people needed him, were dependent on him, and if anything happened, he needed to be there. Not dead.
However, it still struck her as unfair. Just because he had a higher power and a higher rank did not mean he should simply hide behind his status while innocent people were slaughtered for his case. Slaughtered because of them.
Miriam didn't need Frollo. Or at least she felt like she didn't. He was a priest, yes, but he was not God. There was nothing he could do to save them now, and it was everyone for themselves. At least she could do the only thing she knew what to do for now.
She soundlessly got off the couch and walked to the door, leaving to the main room.
There, by the door that led to the Sanctuary she stopped and kneeled before the door.
She was scared of what she would have to do next, it would hurt, but she had to stay strong.
Carefully, she took the iron knife out of the bag and examined it. It sure was sharp. Miriam let it rest in the palm of her left hand before she promptly put pressure on it, and sliced her palm. She winced in pain, and bit her lip, but at least it was done now.
She let her hand fall to the ground before she started drawing a devil's trap.
No demon should enter here.

Anastasia was standing into a corner listening all the things that they were saying.. Did she really have to fight against those demons?!

It happened so fast! One minute before she was praying... unaware of the existence of demons.. and one minute after she was running to find a place where those.. those creatures couldn't kill her!
She was scared and didn't know what to do... She looked around lost trying to hide her thoughts..

Sinbad studied the things Frollo had given him. After a while he looked up. He studied the people around him. He had seen some of the people before in the town, but the only people he really knew were Proteus and Odette. Proteus had that look on his face that he needed to be alone, so it was probably better to let him be for now. His gaze dwelled on Odette for a while. He still didn't have the guts to talk to her. He couldn't blame her if she was still mad at him.. not after what he had done to her.
Sinbad couldn't seem to sit still much longer. He felt like he was burning up inside. He moved his hand to his forehead and wiped off the little sweat drops with the back of his hand. He stood up and walked out of the room. He wasn't quite sure what to do with himself, but he just needed to walk around for a while, so that's what he did. Suddenly he noticed someone kneeling on the floor. He walked towards her.
"Are you alright?" he asked concerned.

Miriam looked up, surprised to hear a voice behind her. She was clutching the wrist on her hand, where blood kept gushing from the open cut in her palm. She had made it so much bigger than necessary, but she hadn't known at the time.
It hurt a lot, and tears were stinging in her eyes, but none of this showed on the surface.
"I'm fine," she said, but realized he must have seen her wound by now.
She stood up, walking towards the kitchen. She would have to clean it up, and find something to bandage it with.

When Sinbad got closer he noticed she was bleeding. When she stood up he figured she would try to get to the kitchen to get it cleaned.
"Let me help you with your hand. It's difficult to bandage it properly when you can only use one hand," he said and followed her to the kitchen.

After examining the contents in his bag, Thomas began pacing.
Uneasiness was setting in and he wasn't sure how to act in this predicament.
He wasn't sure what to do at this moment. He finally decided to talk with someone.
With a sigh, he headed up the stairs to see Father Frollo.

Anastasia was still watching around when she took the weapons that Father Frollo gave to them.. two bags of salt and exorcism spell.. for the first one she wouldn't have problems to use it.. but the exorcism spell ..what if will she say it wrong?!

Odette watched as a few people started to leave the room, she wasn't sure where to go herself so she just continued to sit there for a while longer.
After a few minutes she decided to look inside the bag Frollo had given her earlier and as she stared at the items the realisation of what she had to do .. what they all had to do suddenly hit her. She quickly closed the bag again, stood up and left the room. She started walking towards the bathroom so she could be alone for a while.
