Paint it in Blood Empty
PostSubject: Paint it in Blood   Paint it in Blood EmptyMon Jun 04, 2012 1:10 pm

She ran as quick as she could towards the sanctuary, not wanting any other demons to find her out here, but as she dared a click glance over her shoulder her heart fluttered as she saw Rin running towards her. Running around the corner she waited for him breathlessly and grabbed his top once he was close enough. He wouldn't hurt her... he couldn't... she needed to believe that now.
She pushed him against the wall as well, so they were standing next to each other, and made him wait until she had regained her breath a little before she smirked, and laughed softly, straining herself not to laugh loud enough for anyone to hear, but the situation was hillarious to her.
"That was a masterpiece to be proud of," she joked, but the sight of Calcifer had shocked even her. She had been too rushed and too afraid to linger with him once she had stabbed him, but seeing the mess he was in now she couldn't help but feel a certain pride in herself.

He looked over at her and laughed quietly with her. 'Yes, quite impressive' he smiled, remembering Calcifer's pathetic expression. 'Of course right now I'm supposed to be chasing you down and dragging you back but, well, what can I do when you run so fast and have two weapons in hand?' he smirked.
Regardless of whether or not he believed him, there were always some advantages of gaining such low expectations from his peers.
He took the time to look more in depth at the wound on her arm, frowning. 'Now what did he do to you?' he teased, bringing her arm up to his sight before kissing it, mockingly, not minding in the slightest the taste of her blood, before looking up and laughing again. Although caring, it was also too easy to tease her own weaknesses.

She frowned and pulled her arm away from him. The fluttering feeling he gave her was still sickening, even if she longed for it, but it was the mockery that made her pull away. The wound hurt yes, but not any more than her other wounds and bruises. It was nothing she couldn't handle.
"I'm getting used to it," she murmed, even if she had jerked her arm ever so slightly at the pain from the kiss. The bruises on her neck was still slightly visible, but it was the deep cuts Rin had inflicted on her himself only moments earlier that hurt the most. The fresh gashes was enough to make it hard for her to walk without limping, but she was not about to show him how much he had truely hurt her. In honesty, though his feelings seemed genuine she didn't doubt he would find some secret pride in his victory over her, even if only this one time.

'Good' he smiled, looking at her softly as if to imply he did not truely mean what he said. However mocking her always would be hard to resist. Yet he realised they were still on edgy ground as of yet, and he did not want to scare her off.
'Is there anything I can do to help?' he said, standing closer. He already missed their last kiss, and desperately wanted to fell her against him once more. His hand lingered by her side, before slowly feeling over her stomach and side carelessly, whilst his eyes kept looking at her.

"As a matter of fact there is," she smirked teasingly as she turned to her side, facing him. She reacted to his touch by moving closer to him, letting her arms wrap around his neck as she cocked her head to the side. "You can shut up," she mocked him and leaned in to kiss him softly. This was so lusting, hungry kiss, but a soft caress from a lover. It felt so surreal she was scared of pinching herself in fear of waking up.
For now, just for this moment, she wished to forget the boundries of right and wrong, forget the world that wanted them apart. For now, just for now, she wanted to feel him and only him. For now, she was happy, a feeling she had forgotten the sensation of long ago.

He smiled, happy to follow her instructions, and kissing her back hungrily. Beforehand they had never had the time to enjoy the moment, but now there was relative safety if only momentarily. He let his arms return to holding her tight, and he moved them further into the shaddows.
'Our little secret' he whispered, kissing her once more before kissing the bruises and scratches that lay dabbled across her chin and neck.
He had no idea what had pulled him in to her, and yet now he could not get enough. Their time would always be limited, and therefore he wanted to make the most of it while he could.

His words hurt her somewhat, reminding her of the reason they needed to stay secret. This was wrong, and a greater sin than she could imagine committing in her liftetime. If this did not condemn her to Hell, she was sure nothing would, yet she found herself unable to care.
His kisses made her body shiver in pleasure, and her hands explored his borrowed body whilst she returned the kisses, though he had no bruises for her to kiss. His skin was flawless as always, a great reminder of what he was, and the powers he could summon if it were not for the holy ground.
This couldn't last, they both knew as much. Even if both were unwilling and unable to pull apart from each other, sooner or later, inevitably something would, the most likely circumstance being the death of her. With this knowledge the kisses tasted bitter and salt, but they did nothing to make her want this less. If anything the knowledge of their happiness being limited made her want him all the more now that she had him.

His hands ran their way across her body, careful and gentle due to her numerous wounds. His lips brushed against her skin, before resuming kissing her lips. He could feel his intentions growing, and with the knowledge their time was short he was sure she would think of nothing less.
'We can't stay here' he murmered against her, although his movements did not stop. His eyes flickered towards where the Rectory was, and he knew he was not safe. 'Its too easy for us to be seen..'
His mind flickered over what he knew of the Cathedral, until he remembered the toilets nearby. 'If you want,' he said carefully, 'we can go somewhere else for the moment.'

However much she wanted to pretend the world consisted of nothing but the two of them, she knew his words rang true.
"Where?" she asked carefully, not thinking anywhere in the cathedral would be safe for them. They could never be truely without risk, but if he had thought of something she would not hesiate to follow. She could not bear the idea of leaving him now, and the desperation made her cling to the hope that he would know more than her.
Her heart was beating feverishly with hope, as well as from his touch, and she stared at him awaiting his responce.

'The toilets are the safest I can think of' he said. 'Theres always the locks on the doors then' he smirked. It was not practical, but they had done with the floor of the Spire and he was sure that was by no means better.
His eyes looked at hers, taking her hand. 'Got to be quick if we want to go un-noticed' he said. 'Just say the word and I'll go.'
He eagerly watched her expression, forgetting the nerves as he did. They had already got through so much he was sure that today would be the same. If he could look at them over a small space of time then he could begin to feel slightly more positive, and avoid facing the long-term fate that awaited them.

She nodded eagerly, but didn't dare to let herself smile just yet. Hope could just as easily tear you down as it could build you up, but as he took her hand in his she was filled with a strange belief they could do anything in that moment, and with a quick glance towards the nave and back to Rin without spotting any demons made her positive. She wondered why she hadn't thought of the bathroom herself, but was glad Rin had.
"Let's go," she whispered eagerly and followed him as they quickly, swiftly, moved from the sanctuary to the bathroom, her heart fluttering the entire way.
