Reaffirming your Authority

Rin had been wondering around the Crypt, amusing himself but so far having little to show for himself. Walking back to the Entrance Wing, he was looking at the holy water in the font with distain when he noticed Lillith had appeared and he quickly turned around to look at her.
'Had your fun?' he asked, noting the slight blood on her.

She was as giddy as a schoolgirl after emerging from her hovel, bloodied and sweaty and every cylinder firing full pelt through her system. She was in fine form. Jane was a most entertaining specimen, defiant and pitiful in dual measure. Entering the entrance wing, clearing her head, cing up for air as it were, her mood levelled slightly seeing Rin. She looked over herself and grinned, twirling towards him, humming, she was the old Lillith again. She nodded like a child, biting her lip as she drew nearer to him. She walked her bloodied finger tips up his chest clutching them about his collar and drew his face down till it was level with hers and, whispering in his ear in a voice more sickly sweet than honey said 'I haven't even begun' she pulled away from him slowly, staring him out, making sure he knew who he was dealing with and that she, Lillith, wasn't doing this merry to satisfy a bloodlust, she had grander plans in place and they would impact on him also IF he continued to hide things from her.
After a pause se sighed, "so my dear sweet Rin what's kept you from my side today" she purred

'Glad to know someones doing something about our.. infestation' he smiled, trying to hide any intimidation he felt. 'And I'm afraid I have not had much luck by comparison to you' he said. 'But I shall prove my worth soon.'
He knew that by hiding things from her he was on unsturdy ground, but this did not keep him from his own loyalty to her. Whilst some other demons may have gone astray, he could not so readily. Being so close to her, and hearing her commands, only reaffirmed this in his mind.

"well someone has to" she pouted " my poor little babies have all gone soft" she pinched his cheek. Making it she knew something at least. Becoming serious "you better prove it sooner rather than later Rin you and Cali, I won't have the wool pulled over my eyes, I know something is going on, know there are reasons why more of these humans are not yet dead" she looked him right in the eye " I would hate to find myself questioning your loyalty or Cali's. I found myself...fond of you both, your devotion to me thus far being most admirable but, I would never want to suspect you of treason as I do others, disloyalty as I suspect Azazel or Alistair or, Kaiani." she paused, something human, something sad and child like, something that for a second showed her fear "you would never abandon or betray me like that would you Rin?"

'Of course not' he reassured. 'Besides whilst theres no obvious way out we may as well play with the humans to pass the time' he sighed. 'As long as you aren't concerned that they have their priorities sorted, then the situation is not wholly lost.'
He smiled. 'I do not think you should consider any of them a threat whilst you are still here' he added. 'They may not have any respect when you are not around, but I don't believe they are foolish enough to ignore your words. You just need to confront them and they will fall into line.'
He looked around before turning back. 'Now what can I do to prove that to you?' he asked. He was more than happy to do what it would take to restore faith in her, and eager to show his loyalty far preceeded anyone elses.

She took his words on board. Contemplated them. Was silent for a moment as that human need to be held and comforted faded. Smiling she stretched out her hand inviting him to take it "Come" she ordered "I want to show you something".

What she would show him was his meal ticket as it were, his way back into her good books, a way to reaffirm his loyalty to her, his devotion. Well one way at least...there were...other ways...unfinished business that would cement his devotion to her.

"You want to know how to regain my trust, how to rid me of these doubts circling your loyalty then follow me and I'll show you" she locked her fingers through his and began to lead him into the depths of the Crypt to her cut off little hovel, her sanctuary as it were.

He nodded his head, and took her hand, happy to follow her wherever she went.
He was interested greatly in whatever she was about to show him, and therefore he ignored the shudders he felt re-entering the Crypt.
Curiously, he wondered what she was going to show him, and there was a slight sensation of fear that Lillith could at any point suddenly turn on him and punish him for whatever concerns she may have. However he pushed aside these concerns as he walked down the stairs and down into the dark of the Crypt.

She stopped short of the heavy wooden door that led into the alcove she had dubbed her haven when the ceiling had collapsed in on them. Like an office almost and, inside were here blue-prints, so to speak, for domination, for the subjugation of her lessers.

She pulled Rin gently forward leading him to the door "Ladies first" she laughed cruelly letting go of his hand and waiting for him to ge ahead into the dank, rotting little hole.

Her skin crawled in anticipation of his reaction. The way she had left Jane, not dead but most definately beaten, would catch him off guard, the fact that she, Lillith had a human would be more shocking but, with any luck he would see the clear message that if you wanted a human this is how you treated them. Humans were playthings. Not pets.
